We are currently seeking talented Field Service Engineers to join our team.

AE&E-Von Roll, an international firm based in north Atlanta specializing in the engineering, construction, maintenance, and operation of environmental equipment and boilers, is seeking two experienced Field Service Engineers. The incumbents will be responsible for assisting customers at their plant sites with equipment start-ups, outages, upgrades, and other maintenance issues. This position provides an excellent opportunity for self-motivated, flexible individuals who enjoy challenging, diverse job responsibilities and do not mind extensive travel.

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on the commissioning, operation, maintenance, efficiency, and reliability for all types of power equipment.

Activities include:
• Scheduling and managing steam generator equipment commissioning and inspections.
• Inspecting equipment for problems and making recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
• Determine root cause for failed equipment.
• Writing detailed reports.
• Training plant personnel.

In this position, the Field Engineer will also serve as the Company's representative in resolving and reporting on general technical and logistical problems while maintaining good customer relations with the client.

Position requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field; or combination of education and experience
• Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years related experience in the boiler or power industry.
• Ability to travel 75% (depending on location and experience level), sometimes upon short notice
• Hands-on, mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work with people at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task in an environment with high pressure and changing priorities
• Exhibits high degree of initiative

Physical requirements: Ability to work long hours in hot/cold environments, high places, and in areas accessible only by climbing, bending or crawling. Able to wear a respirator, climb ladders, crawl in small, enclosed spaces.
